EB-5 Investment Options

The EB-5 program offers three primary investment pathways, each with different requirements:

The investor must invest no less than $1,050,000 in a for-profit commercial enterprise. The funds must be from a lawful source, including forms of cash or assets, etc.). The invested company must create at least 10 full-time positions that will benefit the U.S. economy.

If the invested program is in a targeted employment area (TEA), i.e., a region with high unemployment or a rural area designation, the minimum amount required for investment is $800,000. The job creation requirement is the same as direct investment: at least 10 full-time jobs must be created

Investors can also invest through a USCIS-approved regional center. Regional centers focus on large-scale development or infrastructure projects, satisfying the job creation requirement via direct, indirect, or induced employment.

The EB-5 application process involves complex, extensive documentation and review process; the standards are especially high when it comes to proof f lawful source of funds as well as detailed investment plans and business documentation. Please contact us to schedule a consultation if you have any questions.
